Banyan Tree Group garners fresh international awards and accolades in 2007

As Banyan Tree Group rises from strength to strength in 2007, it celebrates a new crop of achievements for existing and recently launched resorts and spas. The Group now counts over 300 awards and accolades since it was established 13 years ago. Moving forward, the Group will continue to provide the signature Banyan Tree brand experience it is renowned for as it expands into China, the Middle East, the Americas and Europe.

Banyan Tree Maldives maintained its leading position in the minds of environmentally conscious readers – it was voted the Best Eco Friendly Resort in the Luxury Travel Reader Award 2007. The resort is home to innovative conservation initiatives such as the Marine Laboratory, reef research and Green Sea Turtle Head Start Programme.
