Maldives launches new resort - Naladhu

Naladhu, Maldives is one of the newest launched properties in the tropical getaway, offering 19 uniquely, private ‘ocean houses’ each named after a Maldivian plant.

Developed by Maldivian architect Mohammed Shafeeq and Thai-based interior designer Julian Coombs, Naladhu offers every modern convenience encapsulated in Colonial inspired aesthetics with just a hint of a Sri Lankan culture.

The new property is situated on a private island, surrounded by magnificent Indian Ocean beaches with coral gardens and vibrant marine life. Naladhu is perfect for kicking back underneath a palm tree with a drink in hand.

Each ocean house is 225m² in size with gabled roofs, glass panelled doors and generous living and bedroom quarters. Outside is no less extravagant, with a personal plunge pool, landscaped garden and a teak sundeck.

Some of the services available at each property include an espresso machine, a stocked fridge (including delicacies such as foie-gras and vintage cheeses), a wine cellar pre-stocked according to personal preference, and a flat-screen television at the foot of the bed.

The resort itself offers a professional butler service, restaurant, in-room dining, as well as its own PADI dive teams to take full advantage of the fabulous surroundings.
