A guide to Stockholm

Stockholm is one fo teh most beautiful city in Europe and is the capital city of Sweden. Sweden attracts millions of visitors each year from all over the world. It is situated in the south central part of the country on the border between the historical provinces Upperland and Sodermanland on the east coast of Sweden. Many events in stockholm are directly targeted to the attract millions of visitors every year.

Stockholm is also one of the oldest city in Sweden with many old buildings and historic sites. Stockholm is one of the most crowded museum-towns in the world with some 70 museums, visited by over 9 million people per year. An incredibly beautiful city in the summer, Stockholm is the Venice of Northern Europe. difference between summer and winter is quite large, with long, mild summer nights and lots of greenery, and dark, cold, often snowy winters with millions of Christmas candles in the windows.

To get a taste of the real Stockholm, throw away your travel guide and head to the Sodermalm area. Sodermalm predates the modern areas of the city and provides a glimpse into the past. The outer Stockholm suburbs are places with diverse cultural background. I personally think it is the ultimate destination for relaxation.
