Maldives is widely regarded as the paradise for divers from the world. Many underwater photographers agree that the Maldives is the best place in the world to photograph fish. Mainly because nowhere else is there such form and variety of fish and coral life. The best dive sites for photographing large pelagic fish such as sharks, mantas or jacks are the atoll passes or channels. Water temperatures range from 75 degrees F in February and July to 81 degrees F in April, May and September. Visibility can range from 50 to 200 feet, depending on tidal movements.
